Whispers of Abundance - SIGANNA Bag Collection

The Whispers of Abundance Collection by Siganna is inspired by the traditional African granary dero, as it is known in Luo culture: a woven sanctuary where harvests were stored, protected, and cherished. 

Each bag resembles  the shape of the granary itself: rounded, grounded, and gracefully structured, symbolising preservation and the beauty of abundance kept with care.

In the villages, the dero stood tall beside every home, built from handwoven reeds and crowned with thatch. It was more than a structure; it was a symbol of care and continuity, the heart of abundance and the quiet assurance of tomorrow’s meal.

From this spirit, Whispers of Abundance was born, a collection that honours the beauty of keeping, the art of weaving, and the heritage of sustenance. Each bag carries this symbolism through form, texture, and storytelling.
